I am searching for any and all descendants of Harrison Monroe. He was a runaway slave from Kentucky in the mid1850s/1860s .He settled in Kansas City Missouri and had 6 wives and several children. One of his sons was Joseph Monroe, born about 1876. Joseph married a mulato woman named Nellie Snaden. She was from Kentucky and I believe her mother's first name was Isabella. Harrison Monroe was my Great Great Grandfather.
