Murphy Knocknagree/Rathmore Co.Cork Ireland

Looking for any info on Murphy's in this area. My grandfather was Dan Murphy born 1903 his father was Michael Murphy married to Mary O Connell. His grandfather was Michael Murphy of Knocknagree and his great grandfather was also Michael Murphy. These murphy's once owned the fair field in Knockngree and there nickname was Mor(Irish for Big). My wife's g-grandfather was Cornelius T Murphy b. 1850 Bantry, Cork, Ireland per his daughter's research on a visit to Ireland in the 1970's.  He immigrated to the USA in 1866, and married Mary UNKNOWN in Philadelphia in 1884.

 I have no idea how close Rathmore is to Bantry, but if anyone knows of this family, please let me know.

hi my nanna was a murphy from county cork i think ,she was called mary murphy she married a percy wright they had aleast one child called alfred rumour was she had something wrong with her eyes.her father was called john murphy.can you cast any light on it i have hit a brick wall.
