Importing Matches to your Family Tree

Hi there,

Is there a way to import other family trees into your own?  For example, I see that there are matches for my family tree that I'm working on and they actually have even more detail than I do on certain family members.  They also have additional family members in their tree that I was unaware of.  I would like to just import their tree details into my own without having to manually do it.  Is there a way to do this?

 Thanks!

I have the same question. So far I have not found a way other then entering it manually. Anyone that knows a better way, please share it with us.

Thanks

Hi guys,

We are still working on the function that will allow you to manually import information to your family tree from SmartMatches that you received on the site.

Thanks for hanging in there with us while we complete this option.

If you are a Premium or Premium Plus member you can automatically merge Smart Matches.

Review the match in order to see the merge feature.

You can do a completely automatic merge which will take all the data from the other tree. You can also select specific fields to merge if you only want to copy a portion of the information.

I use Firefox 10.0, and the feature of importing matches is no longer available.  Have also tried with Internet Explorer 8.0.7601.

Please fix this, as it has been very useful in the past to update missing data.
