Charles James Newman Forrset married his cousin Mary Newman and they had three daughters Mary Jennie Hoskin Newman Forrest; Katie Hoskin Newman Forrest and Annie Alexandra Hoskin Newman Forrest.

Charles, Mary (the daughter), and Katie Mosford are all buried in Shepton Mallet Cemetery.
