There are a lot of Syrians in Grand Rapids, MI, including a family named Hakeem. Other names I recall are: Hannah, Razoog, & Gantos. There is a large Greek Orthodox church here (Holy Trinity) and an Antiochal Orthodox (St. Nicolas) where I suspect most of the Syrian community are members. A google search or WhitePages.com should give you some contacts. I seem to recall from some years ago that there was a Judge named Woody Hakeem (Woodrow?)
