I am looking for any information on a William Clinton Duke born Oct. 4, 1889 and died July 30, 1936. He was born in Wayne co. Illinois and moved to Flora Illinois when he married a Maude Draper. born Dec. 13, 1889. If you have any information about him or who his parents were I would greatly appreciate your sharing. Thanks.

I have just recently started looking for my family background. My Grandmother was the daughter of Edward Marshall son of Strauder and Armilda Marshall. Edward was married to Anna, who then married Ernest Dallas after Edwards death. I have been told that Edward is buried in Bailey Cemetery In Wayne County however I have been unable to verify this.
Strauder and Armilda had 10 children. Edward, Isaac, Jesse, Monroe (known as Roe), Lorene, Ehriam, Lyndal (whom married a Scarbrough) she was a wonderful cook!, Laura , Barbara, and Lula. Edward, Isaac and Barbara died before their father, Strauder was born in Douglas Co, IL 12-15-1859 and died 04--8-1945.

I believe I saw where they are buried in Pin oak Cemetery but I may be mistaken I went thru several cemeteries a couple years ago while in the Fairfield area Armildas parents James Monroe and Barbara E ( Miller ) Dallas are buried in Bestow Cemetery in Geff Ill along with Armildas sister Eunice..
