I'm an author/researcher looking for information on William Kruger, sole survivor of the Wickenburg Massacre of 1871. Mr. Kruger served in the Civil War in the 2nd US Artillery, and was a clerk-cashier for the Wheeler Expedition of 1871. He was born about 1840 in Prussia, and enlisted in the Army in 1862 in Cincinnati, OH. I am looking for his date of death and place of burial, as well as any information available on his family.
