Charles Alexis Jackson born Nov 19, 1858 Iowa. Married Catherine Amelia Bryant in January 1887 in Arkansas. They had 9 children : Marietta Mae, Edith Grace, Melvin Bernard, Harry, Margarite, Marjorie, Audra, Welby, Charles, Jr.
Need info on his life between birth in 1858 and marriage in 1887...........proof of who his parents were. I know he did not live in Iowa after 1886. After 1886 they lived in Arkansas and Louisiana and that is where all of his children were born.

The Jackson family left Ireland in the 1840's. Mother Father, 2 boys and 2 girls. Father and the 2 boys died at sea. Mother and girls went to Toronto where the Mother found work at St James Cathedral as a laundress.

JANDROKOVIC. He changed his last name to JACKSON after coming home from the Marines during WWI. He was stationed in San Francisco & when he got out, he stayed there.
He married OLIVE RUSLER (date unknown) They had 2 children MARILYN LEE JACKSON and STEVEN WILLIAM JACKSON. They were both born in San Francisco.
Marilyn married RONALD ISOLA and they had a daughter, LAUREL LEE ISOLA.
Steven William had a son TODD. (born in possibly NC or VA)
I have reason to believ that Steven William died in 1987 in SPOUT SPRING, APPOMATTOX, VA.
