Trace mother's family back to Thomas harper Gnosall Staffordshire 1690 & Judith Davies same town 1686-1753, their son John Harper 1716 & Grace bentley 1706. Cannot find any thing before Thomas 1690.

Lizzie was my Grandmother, killed in an air raid 1945/ I believe she lived in Albion St. and all or most houses were hit.I realise it was a long time ago, but some one may still remember it. I have not had much luck so far in tracing her background, so any info. would be much appreciated. Have since found her maiden name was Whitworth
Hi, I am 34 years old and have never even seen a photograph of my biological father. I am a successful independent woman and do not need anything from my father and do not wish to cause anyone any problems but just need to know the missing piece of jigsaw of my life and who I am!! Just a bit of information would be lovely.
The only information I have in relation to my father is that he played for a rugby team in Surrey in and around 1977 when I was born and his name is Raymond Harper. I have lived in around Whitley Bay in the North East of England all of my life and my mother is called Norma.

Hi Laura,I saw your post and went looking at Find my past where ihave a subscription.From your Age you were born around the same time that your father was playing rugby in Surrey. Did your mum meet him and concieve you in Surrey.
On that assumption i searched Surrey births from 1950 to 1960. There was only one a Raymond J Harper born in Croyden in 1951,mothers maiden name Clapham.If he is the one he was around 25- 26 when he was with your mum.
No way to prove without more info ,ask your mum how old she thinks he was and if he had always lived in Surrey .

Searching for information on Albert Harper born Middlesex England c1852, married Harriet surname unknown from Deptford c 1853. They had a daughter Isabel May Harper born May 1883. Albert had a brother Henry commonly referred to as Nen.
Looking for information on my grandfather, Boston Harper from Norfolk County VA (now Chesapeake) possibly Princess Anne County (now Virginia Beach VA) He had four sons, Robert Boston, George W, Charlie Isaiah and my dad Alexander Harper.
I am of Irish/English heritage. I have ancestors who settled in Philedelphia and then some moved to Harper's Ferry West Virginia/ virginia. I am replying to you becuase some of my family used Alexander for childrens names. In addition some of them in the 1700 to 1800 held African Americans as servants (slaves). this is not something I am proud of, However, in the will of one of my Granfather's He mention a servant Lady and held her in hi regard.
Looking for Information on Hiram A Harper married to Mary L. he was born about 1853 in indiana and died 1919 in illinois....he was also married to anna skaggs they had 2 children Eunice and lora. he had at least 5 or more kid with his first wife...
