Raymond Hasselman was born by the name of Alle Boonstra in Baflo, Groningen, The Netherlands on 5th July 1910, as a son of Thomas Boonstra and Grietje Ferwerda. By the name of Elmer Boonstra he emigrated to Fulton, IL, USA in December 1929. By the name of Raymond Hasselman he was an inhabitant of Sacramento, CAin 1942 and 1943. He was registered (or known) under that same name in Carson City, NV in 1964 and in 1983.
He died in Marysville, CA on 24 January 1991. He is buried there, too.

Elmer Floyd Boonstra was born in Fulton, IL in 1932. He was the son of Frans Albert Boonstra and Aafke Alderts Post. His parents emigrated to Fulton in 1910. Thomas Boonstra and Frans Boonstra were brothers. My grandpa was Elmer.
