Looking for the parentage of William Henry Groh, b. cir1856 Pa. William lived in Ks and married Indiana Starcher (b cir 1860 in VA) abt. 1880. William and Indiana had 4 children (2 boys/2girls) and divorced some time around 1900. It appears from records that William may have abandoned his family and they were turned over to different orphanages. The youngest daughter was adopted out, the second eldest son may have been retrieved by his mother after she remarried a Ware, the eldest son ran away before going to the orphanage (this is my direct line), and the eldest daughter must have been left in the orphanage.
William Henry is believed to have been born in Bethel Co Pa. Anyone who may have information on this family and would like to compare notes, please contact me.
