I'm doing research on Isaac and Lizzie Bowman Greer. They resided in Johnson City, TN at the time of there deaths, which are unknown, but I have around about figure of their births. Isaac, somewhere between 1882 and 1884, Lizzie, 1885?. he census shows Isaac being born in NC, but not sure. I do know that he and Lizzie had several children between 1902 - 1925. Isaac is my great grand father and I trying to determine if he is a descendant from Sir James Grierson (Greer) of Lag, Dumfrishire, Scotland or Alexander Greer from Ireland. Since both have descendants that have ended up in TN, and, the census were all done by hand back then, it is a difficult task. I have found several Isaac's but none of them lead to the marriage of Lizzie. Not sure what happened o them, due to the 1890 census mssing. Anyone with info leading to Isaac and Lizzie would be greatly appreciated.
