My great Uncle, Frederik Vilhelm Throndsen migrated to the USA in 1875 and resided in Berkeley, Alameda until his death on 9 May 1940. He was born on 20 November 1858 in Oslo, Norway. Frederick William Thronsen and Fred Thrunsen - these names appear in newspaper articles and the 1910 and 1920 US Census records. 1920 Census states residence: Oadland Township, City of Berkeley, Precinct 72, Alameda, California. In America he married Anna N Nielsen and they had 5 children, Harry, Alexander, Lulu M, George and Annie. Frederik was known under the names:
Harry was born 1885 and died in 1940 In Alameda. Also appears in records as Harry Thrunson. He married Emma, who came from Germany, sometime after 1906 in California.
Alexander, also appears in records as Allie Frederick Thronsen, Alec Thrunsen and Alexander Thrunson, was born on 14 Jan 1887 in California and died on 6 Aug 1954, Alameda, California.
Lulu M was born in September 1888 but I haven't been able to find any other records about her.
George was born on 9 Jan 1892 and died on 16 January 1957 in Alameda, California. United Ststes Census of 1910 & 1920 states residence: Oakland Township, City Of Berkeley, Precinct 72, Alameda, California.
Annie Throndsen was born on 1 August 1894 and died on 22 March 1896 - I found a newspaper article about her death.
It seems the Throndsens were fairly well known in Berkeley, Alameda in the late 1800s.
I have not been able to find any other records about these people nor about any descendents. Can anyone help me?

My Daughter (AriannaMcFarlin) recently had to do a project for school referring to her family history. Being a teen parent I, nor my ex-husband (MerlinMcFarlin), had ever given it much thought as to where we really came from.

my grandma just recently told me that her real fathers name was Manuel Delpino. All she really knows is that he has passed away and that he has 3 daughters and that he lived in California.
I did search on him on rootsweb.com and found one that was born and died in California that i believe is him. If i have the right one he died in Castro Valley California. He was born Aug. 24, 1920 and died October of 1975.
If anybody has any information on him or his daughters Please contact me I'm trying to find them for my grandma and also get things straight on my family tree.
