my sister just got back from Mexico and brought back my dad' BAPTIZM info.....his grod parents were PEDRO GOVEA AND JOSEPHINA GARCIA 19 23 1910,,,MY DAD WAS BORN IN 1910 OCT 22.......IT'S A GREAT PEACE OF INFORMATION......DOES ANY ONE HAVE A GRANFATHER BY THAT NAME OF UNCLE????????

hello just read you respose.......I only know that my dad was born in Penjumio gto mexico,,,I never found out where my grandfather was born,,only that he had brother's,my grandfather was Victuriano Govea his frother i don't know eather his mother's maden name was Bribiesca,,,that Pedro Govea baptized my dad in 1910 the year he was born in fact he was one or 2 day's old......when your young you don't ask,,I now my grandma had a brother he name was Refujio Garcia and her brother was Mauro Garcia,i found a photo long ago and last year I realy looked at it and turned it over ,there was a message to his sister from him,,she had family in penjumio that we did visit in the 50's.........I was told that all Govea's are family in some way or another..we take care a cousin from afar...Rita govea
Letter I have found from years 1917 1918 and some on year... to my grandparents Victoriano and Refujio Govea and garcia from friend and family from Penjano Gto. Mexico this was a seprise to find them after a long time, I had seen them about 30 years ago and though that the were gone....... alot of different manes and the way they were spelled.... Salvestr..... Ernestro.... antonia and damile...... and others I am making copie to read better, they are in great shape but some a little light in pencial....... My grandparents at that time lived in Williams Arz............ a family member was in Colorado..............then they move and again them to northen Calif, some stayed up north others moved on. they with Marcelliano and Cleofas moved to Los Angeles them resting place East Los Angeles...were we are know...........

I am the daughter of jGuadalupe G Govea born in Mexico in 1910 cme as a small child. with his father Victuranio Govea and Rejuio Garcia, and two son's Jose and Jesus.. they all have children,,,,, they also came with I belive with Marcellian and his wife they had two son's John {Juan} and Gregerio Govea John has 5 children and Gregerio has children but don't know where they live.. I knbow that a town in Mexico has a lot of Govea's cause I used to writ to a young lady and she would write to me in spanish and I in english....so I know that my grandfarhter had brother's and that he had lots of cousin's one for sure is Trinidad Govea in the USA san fernando vally Calif.
