I would like to find the parents or siblings of Forrester GOODWIN, but have been unable.
Here is what is known:
Born: 11 February 1863, in either North Carolina, Illinois, or Arkansas
Sources are his son's death cirtificate, family narratives, and census records
Married: 21 June 1884, Scott County, Arkansas
Source is their Marriage certificate
Died: 1899, Cameron, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory (modern day Cameron, Le Flore County, Oklahoma)
Sources are family narratives, and the fact he is not with his family in 1900 census, and his wife is listed as a widow.
Supposedly, he died of Black Lung, and was a coal miner.
Supposedly, his body was taken back to Arkansas for burial, likely at the Slate Family Cemetary on the Slate Farm in Fuller, Scott County, as this is where his family was after his death.
Other Notes
Said to have been part indian, either Osage or Choctaw.
