I'm not sure if my family's information would be of help to you, seeing as my great-great grandparents most probably fled to the United States during the potato famine, but I am of Flynn ancestory. I live here in the States and have many family members who reside here as well. I am rather fond of my maiden Flynn and was doing some family tree research when i came upon your post. Please le t me know if my family's lineage would be of any interest to you. My email is littlepunk17@yahoo.com

My mothers family are Flynns. All from and are still mostly in Dublin, Ireland. I have one uncle, John, living in Yorkshire, England. There were 9 children in all. At the moment I ahve not done much research on my mothers family but am planning to. If I get any connection with America I will pass it on.
My grandads name was Patrick (Paddy) Flynn and his wifes name was Mary, maiden name may have been Cooney. My mother and síblings grew up in Finglas, in Dublin. I believe my grandad was born in or around 1916 but am not completely sure.
I will check more with my mother to frind out more definiton information.
