I am looking for relatives of my great-great-grandfather FRANCISZEK MOSIEJ (from Milewskie, Poland), father of Boleslaw Mosiej, who moved to the USA in the beginning of 1900. His last known location is Archbald - Pennsylvania (1927).
Need help finding a relative. He lives/lived in the US. All I know is that he used to work for Grolier in the 1970s as a narrator. He was one of the people who narrated something called "Programmed English" published in 1978. Please do not search the Internet. I did that already. You must have actual knowledge or have access to info not available to just anybody. We do not share the same last name.
Have you tried searching www.genealogybank.com? I've had a lot of success finding relatives there when I hit a brick wall. They have a really large U.S. newspaper archive that contains hundreds of years of info that can't be found anywhere else. It isn't free but you can sign up for a month trial for a paltry $10 so it's well worth it to give it a try .
How close is Hrytsko, going back to the late 1800s to early 1900s? Possibly my great-grandmother from Wysoczany, Galicia. My family's spelling may not be what your family is currently using since it was so long ago.

I am seeking more information on my great grandfather Morris KUSHER (b. 1908 - d. 14 October 1952) - especially Morris’ parents of whom I know almost nothing. Morris was born and raised somewhere in Russia along with is parents and his two sisters, Hinda aka “Annie” and Lena, but I don't know in what town/city (ref. family tree generated by Mordecai “Morty” Genn). Morris Kusher worked as an inspector of meat in order to determine if the meat was prepared properly so it can be labeled as “kosher.”
Morris married my great grandmother Shirley CHAROSH (b. 15 April 1905 – d. 11 February 1995), who was also born and raised in Russia, but I do not specifically which town/city. She was a housewife and never worked outside of the house. After Morris died, Shirley remarried under the last name SNYDER. However, I also do not know anything about her parents other than that they were from Russia. I can provide additional information about Shirley if that would help.
Both Morris (14 years old) and Shirley (17 years old) emigrated from Russia to the United States in 1921. Morris was 19 when he married and Shirely was 22 and all three of their kids were born and raised in Brooklyn, New York (ref. 1930 Census for East New York). The Kusher children from the marriage of Morris and Shirley include: Ruth (b. 1925 – d. 12 March 1939), Etta “Yetta” (b. 12 February 1929 – present), and my grandfather Leo (b. 20 June 1931 – present).
Morris, Shirley, and Ruth are all buried in New Montefiore Cemetery, West Babylon, New York.
I also have more information on all three children if that would help.
Although, any information you have on Morris' and Shirley’s birth, parents, or ancestry I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you so much in advance,
University of Connecticut
