My grandfather, Julian Dudryk, was born in Galicia, Poland in 1855 and died in either New Jersey or Pennsylvania before 1907. Will appreciate any information on him.
I'm looking for the family of James Dudley, who was born say 1790-1805, probably near Lake Memphremagog in Quebec, Canada; said to be descended from Thomas Dudley, early Governor of Massachusetts. He married Martha Ewing; parents of Sarah Rose Dudley, born 15 Sep 1827, probably in Canada, died 14 May 1891, Sommerville, MA, who married William Alexander Irwin.
I am trying to find information about my paternal granfather Arthur Dudley and hope someone can help me. He was born in Suffolk 1888 and died in Melbourne Australia in 1959. We believe he was in the mechant navy at some time and was either born in or had lived in Felixstowe Suffolk. His parents names were Esther Ward and either James Walter Dudley or Walter James Dudley. He married my grandmother in 1913 in Australia so he must have been in his early 20s when he arrived in Australia. We have little information about him. My mother believed he had at least 2 sisters still in the UK. one of whom may have been called Ethel
