Hello Crumpton researchers,
I have access to several new copies of John Rives Crumpton's book, A Research of the Family of Thomas Alexander Crumpton in America. We plan to sell them for $25.00 a copy plus shipping. There is a limited supply and I'm trying to get a feel for the level of interest.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in buying a copy.

I am looking for any information about my Grandfather. I have looked everywhere for information about him, but the only thing I have found is a marriage certificate to my Grandmother. So all I know is:Ronald James Crumpton, married- 1942 in NSW to Eileen Constance Andrews, had 2 children-Diana DOB Dec 26, 1943 and Rhonda DOB Feb 19, 1945 They Divorced about 2 years after Rhonda's birth .I know that Ronald went on and married again. Sketchy information about his new wife and son.Word has it that his wife was possibly a Police Officer in Orange, NSW. Son's possible name is "Frank"
I have just stumbled upon your message and thought I should reply. We may well have no connection at all, but here goes.
I was adopted in 1970, born 1969. My birth cetificate states my birth fathers name as Ronald James Crumpton, and my birth mother as Margaret Brooke (formally Campion, then McCormack) now Crumpton. Ronald James Crumpton was 54yrs of age at the time of my birth (1969). He was born in Summer Hill, NSW. His occupation was Leather worker. I know he spent alot of his life in the Parkes/Dubbo/Orange area. By my calculations, my birth father should have been born in 1915, which if he is the same Ronald James, would have made him 27yrs old when he married your grandmother. Again, if these two Ronald James' are the same person. Unfortunately, that is all I know about him, and I know even less about my birth mother.
As I stated before, it may well be a completely different Ronald James Crumpton, but I thought I should at least contact you and let you know. Feel free to contact me anytime, as we may well be able to find out if we seek information on the same man.
Just been looking on the site for the first time and see that my dad Gordon Crumpton had already asked for a photo of John Henry. John Henry was my great grand father . My grandad was also John Crumpton .I went to find John Henry's grave in July of this year in Ince in Wigan. I didn't know that there was an Australian connection to the family. I'd love to hear more about it and John Henry's siblings.
