I am looking for Cowan's that live or once lived in or around Hillside and Newark New Jersey. My father's name was Gilbert Brochu Cowan and his siblings were Leonard or Leo Cowan, Beatrice or Bea Cowan and Pat Cowan. His mother, my grand mother was Julia Cowan nee' Brochu. Her husband I belive was Gilbert Cowan. If any one has any information pertaining to these wonderful Cowan's I would so love to hear from you and any info would be greatly appreciated !

I would be very grateful if you could send me this information. do you know where your ancestors came from in scotland or any of their names as i would keep an eye out for any information i might come across that would be useful for you. my husband too has ancestors that emigrated to America from Scotland but as of yet i do not know their names it is something his gggrandfather used to tell his grandad but no names were passed on to my husband before his grandad passed away.
