I'm looking for Edward Robert Collingwood born 1842 in Poplar, Middlesex, England, son of Edward Henry Collingwood. Both father and son sailed at least once to Australia and whilst the father died at sea aboard the barque Dharwar, his son cannot yet be traced. I know he came back to the UK but believe he sailed on at least one more voyage. His father was ship's carpenter and he was a carpenter's apprentice but probably became a carpenter in his own right. I believe he may have settled in Australia.
