Captain James Clarke's parents were James Clarke and Elizabeth Curren. I'm having difficulty locating Elizabeth Curren. Some records say she may have been born in Ireland (about 1790) but she lived in New Brunswick, Canada as that is where her children were all born. The Great Fire of Saint John, New Brunswick in 1877 may have distroyed records that would help me find her. Any advise or clues?
Looking for the family of jennie mcgrath (nee clark/ clerkin) married to micheal mcgrath, children mary and james. living in new jersey with patrick clark (clarkin), jennies brother in 1930. mary and james would be around 1/2 years old in 1930.

I'm not familiar with a place named Melbourne in Quebec but I'm familiar with Pointe-Claire. Is it possible it was called Melbourne at one time? Research the both names and see if you can clarify your situation.
