Hello, My name is Janet Bekkers(b. van de Reep) and living in Canada. I am trying to find my mother's family members whom I know so little about. She is Sarah McCafferty Calder(born August 2, 1917). Her parents are deceased: Thomas Calder and Janet Calder (born Curran) from Scotland. Other siblings of my mother are: Henry, Thomas, Sheila, June and Nancy. If you can assist me in my research it would be greatly appreciated.
I am looking for information pertaining to Patrick Calder born in the late 1800. All I know is he was married to Rachael and she may have been spanish. They lived in Australia possibily Tasmania. My grandfather is Joseph Calder, but he changed his name to Joseph Hedlum when he migrated to New Zealand. Grandad had a brother and they called him Tas - he may have been a sailor.

hi. I can help you with your grandfather joseph headlam /Calder.. He died in Dunedin NZ 24th June 1982. He has descendants here in NZ which are related to me thru my sisters marriage to Joseph,s sons. Do you know any more abt Josephs brother Tass. i also have info on Patrick Calder
