I lived in the Merrylee, Cathcart area before coming to the USA. I am looking for an old friend by the name of Isobel Simpson nee White. She lived on Friarton Road, there was another friend that lived on the same road. Eddie Docherty. If anyone knows how to contact any of those people I would be most thankful. Isobel had two brothers and a sister, her Mother was widowed. Eddie had 1 sister, I an basically trying to get in touch with Isobel but as Eddie lived on same street perhaps he or a family member might know where she went. Thank you for any help. P.S, I lived on Ashmore Road

I'm looking for any information about Janet "Jeanette" Lechie McKechnie born May 17, 1874 in Glasgow. She's my great grandmother who married John Barr Hamilton, also from Glasgow, in New York in 1899. Any information as to her ship, departure dates, or port of departure would help me solve a 15 year search.
I know that there are some out there related to me, and I would love to be in contact with them all.

I am looking to find a relative of Joseph Cowan of 401 Great Eastern Road, Glasgow. One of his daughters, Margaret Cowan, married a John Miller, they had a son and a daughter. John Millar/Miller died in 1920. Margaret Cowan or Millar had another child, Mary, and was living at the same address as Joseph when Mary was born in 1925. Would love to speak with a relative who may know the history of Joseph Cowan and his family.
