Looking for any information on a Samuel Creighton -- his son Andrew was born 1802 in Troqueer and emigrated to Pictou, NS around 1823.  His sister Margaret, who married Matthew Allan, also settled in Nova Scotia.  I was wondering whether anyone could confirm whether Samuel married a Mary Richardson and whether there were any other children born in Scotland.  Given that Samuel's eldest son is named Andrew, perhaps his father was also an Andrew from Lochmaben, Dumfries?
