I am trying to trace my biological grandfather, Robert Brown. I do not have a great deal of information, but am hoping what I do have may be of some use.
He is either of Afro-American or Native-American origin who was part of the US Air Force, on tour in the UK between 1950 - 1965. He was discharged between 1961 and 1965. I am assuming he was born in the 1940s.
I am looking for any information on John B. Brown. He was born around 1790 in North Carolina the Boone area we think. He was married to Nancy Ferguson. Any help would be gladly welcomed.

I've been working on our family history for some time but am having problems locating information on John Brown born in New York around 1865-1867. We believe his father's name was George from Germany and his mother was from France. I don't know her name. We do know that John had a brother named Charles. George, hi father, served in the Civil War and died before John reached the age of 12. John's mother died when he was 12 and he ran away from home according to my great grandfather. John married Mary Petee and settled in Mighigan.

Finding and following the right Mr and Mrs Brown has proven to be very difficult.......
This Brown family was at Grafton until at least 1881.... Some time after 1881 they seemed to have just disappeared in to thin air................................................................
The BROWN family left Grafton , New South Wales , Australia , at some unknown time .
Mary Brown ( nee Reilly ) died 20th February , 1910 , aged about 64 years. The death was registered at Paddington , NSW Registration 2695.
One of Mary Brown's daughters , Annie Hall ( nee Brown ) also died in 1910 , aged about
27 years . Her death was registered at Redfern , NSW Registration 15190 .
There is still no sign of John Brown's death . It is thought to have occurred between 1893 and 1898. Without knowing the names of John Brown's parents , in Denmark , it is
extremely difficult to locate the 'right' John Brown.
