Looking for any leads on my ggggGrandfather, John Brackenrig (blacksmith) who married Mary McLure on May 28 1809 Middle Church, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.  Probable parents of John Brackenrig are Walter Brackenrig and Isabell Miller and probable parents of Mary McLure are William McLure and Helen or Eleanor Dick but not sure.  Most of our family was in the Greenock and Paisley areas with connections to Pollock, Mack, Hagan, Paton, McKay, Adams and Robertson.
