ive been doing my tree for 4 years now and still getting surprises!!!! I dont have a john mckenzie in my tree (YET)! they all come from scotland too..grr.we have moved down as far as sheffield but no further. many thanx for getting in touch though, hope your enjoying tracing your tree as much as me.xxx
the john mackenzie in my tree was born in scotland as was his father and grandfather and i think ggf as well i have gone back to the mid 1800's let me know may be able to help you patxx

Joseph Sr , wife & children from Yorkshire departed from Hull on The Valiant for Prince Edward Island "PEI", CNada. Looking for his siblings and/ or ancestors.
I am looking for ancestors/family for William Calvert family in Yorkshire. They were evacuated from London during WW2 to Yorkshire (Sherburn-in-Elmet). William's dad was Arthur Ernest and his mum was Sophia (Stock).
Also looking into his wife's family. Her name was Delia (nee Shaw). Delia was born in Featherstone 1920's, her dad's name was Jack Shaw, and her mum was Lillian (Trevellyan).
Any information on any of the above names would be truly welcomed.
