Does anyone have information on Daniel Hoops (or Hoopes), born supposedly in Skelton-in-Cleveland, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom on 27 May 1672? The only information I have on him is his birth place and year, his death date (1 July 1749) and a possible burial place in Westown MH, Chester, Pennsylvania Colony, Great Britain. Everything else I have on him is kind of iffy. If anyone could help me straighten his information out, that would be great!

I'm researching Kathleen, older sister of Charles Cawton Staniforth, and see that Charles Hawes has a link to 'Charles Cawton Staniforth Wheen'. Reginald Edward Wheen was Kathleen's first husband. As a pensioner I can't afford the annual fee and, as the research has already been done, I would be extremely grateful for any help with this enquiry. Thank You.
I am searching to get in contact with my father, who once lived and was married to my mother Elaine Nightingale in Hull. He is now believed to live in Upper Poppleton, York although I am unsure if this is true and is believed to be in his 50s.
I am 24 years old now, born in 1989 now living in South Yorkshire after being to university (twice!). I am searching for my father to find out the answers to my questions - not why he left etc.. I just want to know if he looks like me, what parts of his personality I have etc as I am unlike my mother in so many ways and get told all the time that I am 'the spitting image of him' but have no photos to know if this is true or not.
I would like to form a relationship with my father, but at 24 and with a wise head on my shoulders well above my age I am not seeking miracles, and would not be offended if he had moved on with his life, we all have. I have searched for many years now and I am losing hope. My grandad, the only male in my life, passed away 4 years ago and so the urge to find my father has only gotten stronger.
I am hoping that someone may be able to help me, I cannot afford to pay for records etc to do further searches as I live alone but as York is quite a tight knit community I am hoping someone will have information.
Hi :-) My Maiden Name was/is OLD. I would seriously like to contact an OLD in Yorkshire, as my Dad (Dad died in 1975 before internet and so forth, so Dad had only Oral History to go by) told my only brother , David, that our OLD family originated in Yorkshire, England. I have so far gotten back to c1709 with a William OLD dying in 1784 in Dorset, England, but no idea as yet where he was born. My branch of the OLD family here in Tasmania, Australia, has followed the tradition (according to my father ) of having small families. Also between 1856 to 1947 there has only been 3 Generations born. Which is unusual for families here. it's roughly a 40-50 years gap between generations. IF you would, hopefully, like to let me know what you think on any of this please, feel absolutely free to contact me at email@example.com .
