I am trying to find out about Edwin who is my Great grandfather. His daughter Lily was my grandmother and had my mother whilst still single.

 I am not sure i have answers to your question, but i am part of another Geniology Tree and my Great Grandfather James Monroe Woodman (info below) had several siblings (some still ???) - hope this helps (Oh, and my name is Henry Woodman) 

can someone help find the parents of susan washer (nee pilfold). susan was born in 1838. i dont know when she died. she was married to richard washer in june 1858.
