I have a Taylor Family in my family tree who originally came from Framingham, in Suffolk around 1678. Then a Jonathan and Mary Ann Taylor moved to Essex around 1834 to 1836, where they had a very large family. Charles Taylor (son of Jonathan and Mary Ann) married (my relative) Mary Ann Mallows in March 1871 in Halstead, Essex.

I have been successful in tracing via Census etc back to 1804 Thomas Abbott who married Sarah Cook Glanfield in 1831 in Ipswich
I think that his father was also Thomas married to Rachel Balam. I am not sure how to proceed (ie get marriage license info and perhaps trace parents etc
There are multiple Thomas Abbotts all in Thorndon, Stoke Ash Wetheringsett area

Hello, I am creating this topic because I am in desperate search of some information about my maternal great-great grandparent. From what I have gathered, his name was Charles Foreman and he was born in Suffolk. He later married Jean Mary Howell, and had at least one child who is my maternal great-grandmother, Daisy Foreman.
