Hello. I am trying to find information on my Grandfather Leo Harold. I do not have any because he divorced my grandmother and was not heard of again. I know there are 'Harolds' in Somerset which is why I am trying this county.
After any information on the Hancock family that lived in the Somerset area. I have found ancestors that go back to 1680, if possible would like any information on the family before 1680. Or any information on the following ancestors would be much appreciated
Hello to you all in Somerset, looking for any information about the late Henry Hockey (from Meare) and wife Mary Parsons (from Shepton Montacute) Henry's father was Robert and mother Ann from Wincanton. Mary's father was James and mother Martha. This family came out to Australia aboard the Mary Bannatyne with young children on the 26th July 1849. Henry also had a sister called Sarah Hockey this family settled in Bathurst N.S.W. Sydney Australia. Would love to know more about them.
