The Hilton's lived in Radcliffe, Lancs for several generations, I have got back to Joseph 1781 & Sarah 1784 who lived in Oldham but not sure if they are the correct parents of James Hilton 1818.
The Rogers side originated in Wales, then moved to Quorn, Derby before moving to Bury, Lancs. I have got back to George 1785 & Martha ? who were married in 1779 Forden, Flintshire.
If anyone out there has any info or a connection I would love to hear from you.

can anyone help i am looking for william hurst born 1814.different census's has him born in different places[ lowton,westhoughton] according to his wedding certificate he married a catherine farrington in 1840 at the age 26 and was living in hindley at the time and was married in the parish church in wigan his father was a farmer and was also called william and his family before he married is proving very hard to find.
I'm searching for a William Fleming, who is the father of my Dad, Leslie Bird (Name changed by deed poll when he was 15). My father believes that at 12-13 his Dad died in Fazakerly Hospital in Liverpool. This is contested as there is no solid proof as there is no real evidence that this is the case? The birthday is said to be Febuary 13th 1900 /- 5 years, but again, information and evidence very sketchy. I have been trying to trace William Fleming but have hit nothing but brick walls! Is there anyone that can help please! I can't go back on my fathers family as it stops at his father.
