I am looking for information on Thomas and Lady Chandler, who lived in Bishops Stortford. They had a child - Thomas about 1500. Thomas married Agnes and they had 4 children - John, Thomas, Agnes and Robert.
5th Generation Chandler was William Chandler. He was married to Annis (Alcock ?) and they were the first of their family to travel and settle in Roxbury, MASS.
I am the 17th generation of Chandler's. I have quite a bit about the 5th generation on, but very little for earlier family.
My ancestors appear in Co. Meath, Ireland where a Mr. Michael Chandler was buried in Rathmolyon on 1739.
Later names in the 18th century are Robert and John, sons of John of Agher but I am unable to connect them to Michael.
I suspect that Michael Chandler came over from England around 1735 to work for a landlord around Rathmolyon.
Have you any data from the English siade of your family in the 1700s so that I might make some connections.
