am trying to trace my aunt mary she had a brother and sister called angela and came from county clare in ireland her maiden name was macmahon and would be about 68ish and was oldest of 3 siblings i believe she may have had 2 children but dont know their names last known address was in kent area possibly maidstone or somewhere around there please let me know if you know of her or her family
I am looking to research more into my family heritage and I do have a paper copy of a family tree that goes back a couple of generations before Sir Issac Brock. Our line is directly descended to one of his brothers. I would like to find our more about our history and where we come from before Issac and I am having a hard time finding anything about our descendants other than our most famous :) Help is much appreciated!!
My wife is searching for information about the birth and family of Francis Bocci, born about 1747 in either England, or Italy, possibly Naples.
She would also like to trace his marriage to Mary Fowler in England, about 1785. They had several children - Selina, Peter, Francis, Frederick Antonius and Charles Augustus and possibly others, who were baptised in London/Middlesex. They were of the Roman Catholic faith at that time, I believe, though eventually became Anglican, according to later baptisms.
I believe that Francis went to Paris, France, where he discovered wigs/hairpieces made with natural hair, and sold them in London and Tunbridge Wells, especially. He was a hairdresser and was followed into the business by his son, Frederick Antonius Bocci (born London/Middlesex about 1799).
Francis Bocci died in Tunbridge Wells in 1831, but my wife has found no trace of his wife, Mary, nor deaths of most of the children.
Any light that anyone can shed on this family would be gratefully received.
I am looking for information on two brothers JosephP and John Edward Ryill, John being born around 1874 and Joseph a little later. They appears as stepson on the 1891 census with my gt grandfather Joseph (John) Benson and his wife Mary. On a later census 1901 they both appear with Johns wife Susan. No-one in my family seems to know much about them and there seem to be very few records with them on. I have John and Susans marriage cert from 1898 and his father is also named as John Edward Ryill ( deceased) and I can find no information on him at all. I then found one record of John later in life with his wife in Medway Kent. As for Joseph, I can only find one othe record of him in the army at 17 yrs. He was listed as born Liverpool, John was born Sunderland. Its very confusing as I have tried ordering birth certs with no result. Nor can I find any marriage between a Mary and a John Ryill. I would love to know who they are and how they came to be in my family and would be grateful for any help.

Looking for information on a Patrick Charles Wilson who Married a Martha Smethyurst of Marblehead, MA. Martha and Patrick had one son, Clarence born in 1895 and Martha died November 4, 1895. Martha also had another son born November 22, 1886 with the last name of Smethurst, father is not known to me. I believe both were born in Marblehead, MA.
I've traced back to a John Neate (Neete or Neyt), b. 1516 All Cannings, Wiltshire, England; m. Agnes Balowe 1541 Bishops Cannings, Wiltshire, England; d. 1565 Elsenham, Essex, England.
FamilySearch. org reveals his father was Thomas Meade (or Mede) b.1489 Wedmore, Somerset, England; m. Joan ? c.1519; d. 1557 Great Easton, Essex, England.
A number of others are following the same route as me and it leads us back to a string of Thomas Medes being born, living and/or dying in either Somerset or Essex. I am confused, especially as two other family sites list the various Thomases but with no references to a John, nor of a name change.

Hi there I am trying to trace any relatives of a Michael Martin who came to England on or about 1899 Michael was born in Galway Ireland in 1879 and was my Dads uncle he did not have much information on him but apparently when he came to England he never returned home I do not know what part of England he came to but on searching the 1901 census I can find very few Martins about 6 who came over here about his age and in the 1910 census has only 2 of his age any information would be of help Many Thanks Marian
