My name is Sharonrose and I have been tracing my familytree now since February 2008. My father had seen I was doing my familytree and told me that his father was Robert McClean Beggs. This was the 1st time i was told this and so from then to date I have been trying to trace any relations that we have not known off and would love to meet anyone who is related. Over the past 2.5 years i have been able to find some ancestors but would love any help from anyone will further information or pictures. Robert M Beggs 08.1914 was son of Jessica Miriam Glover 1893-1995 and Robert McClean Beggs 1893-1920 siblings John Beattie Beggs1913 and Jessica Miriam Beggs 1916. My grandfather emigrated to New Zealand in 1921 ages 6 years old, with his Grandparents John Beattie Beggs and Sarah Ann beggs nee McClean and Children Molly aka Mary Ann, William, Earnest, and Victor. They owed a Boot Manufacturers on Petershill and Old Lodge Road as Duncairn Gardens during 1890-1920s in which when Grandfather John Beattie Beggs arrived in Christchurch, New Zealand he opened another store on Colombo St and bought land and built his own home on Wyndham cresent. They all never moved back to Belfast again, Only My Grandfather Bobbie (Robert) arrived back to his mum Jessie in 1930 aged 16 years from New Zealand at limestone Road, Belfast. I am not sure if jessie (by this time) had got married again to John Lee. Jessie Father was Hamill Stuart Blackwood Glover and was a Midland Foreman of the Railway which I think was at york road/street Station, Belfast for a number of years before he worked in a bakery at 66 york road in 1916. Sadly I cant trace him no further. He married jennie Gray 5.9.1883 Ballywalter Church of Ireland and had 10 children sadly Mary 1899 passed away some time between 1901 and 1911. Jennie's father was a farming Implement manufacturer of Ballywalter called James Gray and his father Robert Gray. My Grandfather, we believe was blessed with 4 Daughters whom we have just lately been told off, which means these will be my fathers half sisters. Hello...my name is Brenda Beggs-Salazar; I am searching for information on my paternal surname of BEGGS...Following is what I know or suspect I know...I have copies of Joseph's marriage to Clara and his death certificate...information on his parents was taken from the 1910 US Census, so don't know how accurate it is...
Joseph Beggs was born abt.13MAR1862 in "Eng Canada". His parents were William Beggs born ? in Scotland and ? born ? in "Eng Canada". At some point he left Canada and came to Colfax Twp., Walkerville, Oceana, Michigan. I first find evidence of him here around 1895; I don't know if he came here because it was a lumber community and he was looking to work in the logging industry or what his purpose was. He purchased two 40 acre parcels of land and sold one to a Mr. Samuel Steele of Indiana...I haven't been able to discovered what happened to the other 40 acres...on 31AUG1904 he wed Clara Marie GREEN...A possible shotgun wedding...on 2NOV1904 my Gramps was born. He was Francis "Frank" Leon Beggs...next was Archibald Mclane Beggs born 25DEC1906; Thelma Marie Beggs born 1909, and Madeline "Midge" Lee Beggs born 1JAN1911...Joseph died that year on 3NOV1911 leaving Grandma Clara to care for 4 small children to care for...in 1914 she had another child Lena "Mabel" Beggs...however Aunt Mabel couldn't have been a Beggs...I don't understand why she was given the Beggs surname as I found a marriage certificate to a Mr. Benjamin Phelps and Grandma was signing her name in the school ledgers for the other children as Mrs. Clara Phelps...Mr. Phelps death certificate says he was a widower at the time of his death but Grandma didn't cross until 1977...more research is needed...any help is needed, wanted, and will be greatly appreciated!!!

She wed Wesley Jay Pulsipher in July 1959 together they had two children; Patty Kay Pulsipher and Wesley Owen Pulsipher.
