I am seeking info on Walter Simon Bean (B: 27 Jan 1893 or 94, in Mondovi, Wisconsin, USA; D: 4 Jan 1944, in Portland, Oregon, USA), and his father William Bean (B: 2 Mar 1859). Walter's mother, Anna E. Hesford (B: 6 Mar 1869, in Wisconsin, USA; D: 19 May 1939) remarried to Charles Alden and Anna's children assumed the Alden last name. I find a nfair amount of data on Walter but when searching for his father William Bean I either find nothing or I find a gazillion W. Bean or William Bean entries with next to no information linking him to Anna or Walter.
Walter is my father's (William Chester Alden) father, my grand father. Any information on any of the above mentioned people would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached by email at marvalden@yahoo.com.
Charles Edward Bean was born c1858 in London the son of Fanny Bean (born c1833 in Scarborough).
(He had a sister Anne born c1856 and Isaac born c1860 both in London).
In 1871 (census) they were living at High West Gate, Scarborough.
Sometime in the latter part of the 19th century Charles married Sarah Jane Stonehouse.
They lived at 3 Long Greece Steps, Scarborough, where Edward is listed as a mariner on the 1901 census.
i am trying to find inforrmation about my paternal family named bean from cleckheaton west yorkshire. my fathers name was gordon and he was in the army and died in 1944, he had 3 brothers named jack, ken and douglas his mothers name was mary. jack had a daughter called jacqueline and a wife called francis.

My Grandfather is John S Bean 1918-2000 (moved to NM died there), his father is Russell D Bean 1895-1984(Wadestown WV), his father Henry Bean unsure of the dates(WV).
