I am searching for any information on Mary Ballard who married George Ballard. They lived in Alabama in what would have been Mississippi Territory at that time. I think she was born between 1790 and 1810. She had two children by other men. I don't know if she was married to them or not. I believe she was an indian as there was a lot of misleading information in the family about her and her daughter. Her daughter was Winney Ballard and Winnie was my great grandmother. I believe her maiden name may have been Rollins because she had a brother named John Huston Rollins. I haven't found much on him either. Thanks for any information anyone may have as I have hit a double brick wall on this side of my family.
I am looking for Flable Nelson Ballard Sr., he is my gg-grandfather and I dont have anything on him. It has been told that he may have been born in Tennesse maybe in the 1830's, his wife was named Sarah Jane Hopkins also said to be born in Tennesse.
Hello all, I have a rather complicated family story to try to piece together so any info at all is welcome! :)
My grandmother is Mary Elizabeth Ballard, maiden name Burke. Her father was John L. Burke, mother is Sadie Cross. She was born 1920 in TN, then married Clyde "Buster" Ballard, a farmer in Randolph Co, Arkansas. Now her kids were always told she had died of cancer in 1962, but none of them even remember a funeral, nobody has been able to find her grave, and there are no records of her funeral at the local funeral home that would have been responsible for burying her. The older kids say they remember she left one day and never came back.
Many years ago, in the late 80s my dad got a call from somebody saying they were looking for her and the last known address had been California.
If anybody has any leads for me or know of how I can track down any information I would love to hear it.

I can't seem to find any info for Will Ballard's parents, Larkin Samuel Ballard and Florence Bolen. Will Ballard was born in 1882 and died in 1968. His kids were "Buster"-not sure about his real first name but he went by the name Buster, Tom, Larkin, Dial, Bob, Edsel(Ed), Cliff and one daughter, Erma Smith.
They lived in Randolph Co and I know some lived around Light near Paragould. Any info on either Larkin Samuel or Florence Bolen would be great!
Am trying to find information on Ellsworth Ballard who married Claudia Bennett or Bonnett, and had a son Samuel R. Ballard around 1775. Samuel married Mary Stephens and they had a son Stephen R. Ballard. All of this took place in what is now Guernsey County, Ohio.
Besides seeking more information about this family, I am trying to connect them to another Stephen Ballard born 1780 in Pennsylvania who may be the brother of Samuel R. Ballard above, and another Samuel R. Ballard born 1806 in Guernsey County or Washington County, Ohio, who may be the son of Samuel R.
Any information that will add to what I have here, or that will disprove tthese relationships, will be greatly appreciated.
I am a decendent of Samuel R. Ballard from Guernsey, Ohio, who I understand to have been born in or around 1805. One of Samuel R. Ballard's children was Thomas Ballard, who in turn had a son Orin "Bert" Ballard, who is my great, great grandfather.
I do not have family information predating Samuel R. Ballard in Guernsey Ohio and am interested in such information if you have found it.
Looking for further info on William H. (Henry) Ballard of Mercer Co, WV. Married to Rosa Hawks & apparently died between 1895 & 1900. William & Rosa's marriage record in Mercer Co says that William was born in Alleghany Co, NC to R.F. & A.M. Ballard in 1873. An R.F. is found in Alleghany 1870 census, which would've been prior to William's birth, but wife is not A. anything. Looks like a Jane. Can't find anybody in 1880 anywhere for sure. Thanks.
