I'm doing research and need information on Angels who lived in the state of Virginia from approximately 1830 - 1870. Specifically, the Boutetourt area. Any information would be helpful.
I am also researching my Angel(l) family. Most seem to came from Northwest NC, but from time to time some have claimed birth place as Virginia. I you haven't alredy done so, you might want to search Stokes County NC also some have been found in SC.
I am curious to find out if these Angels came into the south via ship from their homelands or if they are truly from the East Coast as claimed.
I've trace back to my great-great grandfather who was born in VA. I attempting to track down his parents. I'll check Stokes county as you suggest! Thanks for the suggestion.
