Well it definitely could be. We are originally from Massachusetts and most of my family still lives there. Most of the Allaire's that I know from MA are in Central Massachsetts around the Worcester area. Actually I believe there is a Hector Allaire that I've heard of in my family. I'll have to ask my parents.
