I have been trying to research and find my roots for a year now. No one seems to know anything in my family. There have been fights since before I was born about the way to spell the family name. Or no one remembers or just don't want it known. So if anyone has any information to help send me a message.
My grand father's name is Bernard John Newbury Born 1928 died 1983. My Grandmothers name is MaryAnn Syracuse born 1931 died 1999.
Other names in my family are : Syracuse, Newberry, Hachten, Seitz,
And my husbands family are : Salmon, Hornsby, Nelson, Snyder, Ragsdale, Collins

I have found information that born in 1888 there was Josephine Ninehauser. She lived in Ambridge, Pennsylvania and had 2 brothers. I found her in 1920 census but nowere after or before that. The spelling of the name may also be Neuhauser. Her father was Adam, mother Mary. Anyone with any information, I would appreciate it.

I'm trying to find information about my Great Grandmother. My Great Grandfather was Roy W Soules born Oct. 13, 1909 in LaGrange County, Ohio ( I believe...at least he was there in the 1930 Census at age 20, and was still single at that time) and died May 22, 1991 in North Ridgeville, Lorain, Ohio. I have found information on who his parents were, but not who his wife was. His son (my grandfather) is still living but I don't have contact with him to ask him, and the only thing I remember from when I was younger and did have contact with him was him saying he was an only child and never anything about his parents. Thanks in advance for any info given.
Also, I'm looking for any information on my mothers side of the family. I know very little, as does she. Her name is Joanna Jean (Bowser) Vance..her father was William Bowser, i don't know his dob, but he passed around 1988 in Elyria Ohio, and her mother is Elaine (Pallardy) Gardner (spelling may be wrong), still living.
I found something strange, in the 1920 Census, Roy's parents are listed as Franklin L. Soules as father and Anna Soules as mother, but in the 1930 Census, the way it reads is Franklin is his brother. Possibly his mother died and he and his father lived with his grandparents at the time of the 1930 census?
