Searching for ancestors of James Aitken, born c1826 in Dundee, Forfarshire. Father was Alexander Aitken. James married Emily Hill in 1869 (his second marriage but I cannot find details of his first). I have details of all their children but am having problems going back. Can anyone help ? James went on to live at Burton Hill, Helensburgh and was a shipowner in Glasgow (the Loch Line)

I am looking for information on my mother's family. Her mother's maiden name is Andelin and married a Pohjosmaki. Late 19th century in the Lehtimaki/Seinajoki vicinity of Finland. The family had 14 siblings. I've been told that some of the brothers emmigrated to the United States and one sent a parcel to my mother - Eila Wuorinen in Kaministiquia, ON, Canada, back in the 1970s.
