My aunt was from a simple farm family yet was given the name Olgareetia. I would like to know the origin of the name , but when ever I do a search she is the only one that comes up. Any suggestions on how to find out more about the name? She was born in Schenectady, NY and family lore has it that she was named after an Indian Princess who appeared in at a local theater.
Looking for some info on my great grand parents. Their names were Henry Giles and Hannah Sophia Weller. Think they lived in Greenwich but not sure . Hannah was born in about 1863 .

I have been trying for some time to find out what happened to my Grandfather, Alexander McKenzie, who was born in Greenock, Scotland on 9th July 1892.
His immediate family is as follows:
Parents: John McLeod Mckenzie and Sarah (maiden name McVinnie, sometimes spelt McEvinn)
Brothers: John McLeod, Edward, Adam McMillan (twin of Edward, died while still a baby)
Sisters: *Margaret Lang McKenzie, Mary McLeod McKenzie
*Margaret Lang McKenzie was married twice, to Andrew Redpath and James Hampton.
Alexander McKenzie married my Grandmother Ruth Emily Reside in 1921 but I'm told the marriage may not have lasted long so he could possibly have married again.
I'd really like some assistance with finding out what happened to him as I've ordered several death certificates already from ScotlandsPeople and they haven't been the right ones.

I'm searching for an my uncle's family. We know that his father was Adam Kotecki, 1885, and married Stanislawa ( Stella) 1892, Rachwalska in 29 Sep. 1908, place unknown. Adam's parents were Francis & Mary (Marciniak) Kotecki. Stella's parents were Joseph & Martiniana Rachwalska. I believe that they may have come to the US from Poland, maybe through New York City,1908, then through Detroit. They lived in East Chicago, IN and raised three children; Francis, dob 1913 in LaSalle, IL, and Kasper, 1915 in LaSalle, IL. John Thadeus or Thaddeus, was born in 1930 in East Chicago, IN. Adam was a harbor worker in this city. My uncle, John, (married my mother's sister, Mary H. Heuser) knows very little about his father's homeland of Poland. I'm looking for Elizabeth Leach Who was gave to my father in 1936 of June of that year and apparently she had other children as what they lived in London during the second world war. She worked at White Hall.
