My Aunt told me my Grandmother's name was Rose Jukas possibly from Poland Married My Grandfather Stanley Orlowski possibly from Poland came here around the late 1800's, lived in syracuse, ny. Rose was married previously to last name of Chihuski. Anyone out there know any of these people. all of our "old timers" have passed away thank you.
I don't know if anyone can help or find anything I have missed but I figured it's worth a shot. My father's family was originally Albertson but sometime before 1882, the last name changed to Orberson. The family at that time lived in Gravel Switch Kentucky. I have been unable to find out really anything about the family prior to the name change. And have absolutely no idea why the name changed. Any help or information anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Tracy
