I am interested in learning about the family. I have two aunts living in their nineties who are from Marksville, Avoyelles Parish. They are the sisters to My Great Grandfather who passed away, and I would like to study the geneaology. His father was Simon Lavalais, who had also had 12 brothers I believed. His mother was Lessie Lavalais.
Hello Dr. Lavalais (possible cousin). What are the names of your two aunts?? Do they still live here in Marksville?? Is your mother and father still living?? What are their names if you don't mind sharing that info. Were you born here in Marksville??? I have come across the name of Simon Lavallais in my research but have not yet made a connection to my family.....Happy to share any info I may have if you will do the same.....

For security reasons I have a non-admin account on my computer for everyday use, configured for minimum perpissions. Thus I install all software from a separate administrator account. I have installed both FTB and TCGR, switched to the non-admin account and found aout that:
a) FTB is not present in the Start Menu - easy to fix manually
b) when I select "Book report" from the menu I get a message saying that the book report software hasn't been installed properly
Do you confirm it's a bug? What workaround is available other that having to export GED manually each time?
