I'm looking for a relative whom I know for a fact was in an orphanage. Her mother was institutionalized and had to give up her children. Beverly was very young and I have reason to believe she died as young as 8 and in the orphanage.

I would love some insight on how I might go about finding records on her. 

I don't know where the orphanage was but my guess is somewhere near International Falls Minnesota, Possibly in Kaiser Wisconsin, or somewhere in the vacinity of those two areas.
