Bethecy Elizabeth McGerry (Helm) died abt 1835. She is the daughter of Samuel Helm b1761 d.1838 and Polly Tiff b. 1763 d.1829. Bethecy was born in Deerpark, Orange Co. NY. Last known possible married in Cuyuga Co. NY to a unknown McGerry. He is said to have been b.1786 and died in NY, location unknown. Looking for information to plug up this missing link in our family history. Not even "for sure" McGerry was last name, but seems most information we get back it is. When Samuel (her father) died, Bethecy's brother Daniel was in charge of the probate and sought out (niece) Betsey Inman (Bethecy Helm McGerry's daughter) for disinheritance. Betsey Inman lived in Cuyahoga Co. Ohio at the time. Per the probate she was listed as the "former Betsey McGerry" now wife to Sylvester Inman.
