After my second great-grandfather James F. Pitcock died at Shiloh Tennessee, my Grgr grandmother Martha Ann Nancy Russell Pitcock married a Jacob Bushong in Monroe Co. Kentucky about 1870/71. I have not been able to find his family. He is buried with grandmother Bushong in the Martin Cemetery near Dora, Ozark Co. Missouri. Any help would be greatly appreciated,

His date of birth fits with siblings.
He's named Jacob as is an uncle
He's middle named, Hamilton, after his uncle Thomas Hamilton and aunt Margaret Peggy Bushong Hamilton.
He married a Bryant, probably a sister to George W Bushong's wife, Nancy T Bryant.
He lived in the same county as his father and was about 13 households away from George Bushong and Nancy Bryant in the 1850 Census
Named a child Newton for middle name, as did at least 2 other siblings.

I found details of an ancestor's gravestone with information on it that expanded my knowledge of that person. Well worth a visit and going back from time to time as more graveyards are being photographed and recorded. I have also been inspired to volunteer to document the graveyard where my parents are buried, making a start yesterday photographing the first batch of gravestones and indexing them this morning.
