My name is Linda Inch and my great grandma was born Emilie Lauzon around 1866-7-8-9 70 or 71. It stated in the obituary that she was born in Ottawa. In 1875, Emilie was placed at the St Joseph Orphelina in Ottawa which is now called Mere Bruyere. She was put there in Oct 1875 and in March of 1876 went to live with Jeremie Rivet and Sophie Cotel. They spent most of their lives in CLarence Creek Ontario and Emilie was married January 9th 1888 at the Notre Dame de Cyrville church to a Joseph Vincent Jr. son of the late Joseph VIncent Sr and Louise Otterson. In the records it states Emilie Lauzon adoptive daughter of Jeremie Rivet and Sophie Cote When she married husband no. 2 ALexander Robert in Ville Marie Quebec. It stated Emilie Lauzon widow of the late Joseph Vincent, parents unknown. The only thing we have birthday wise is in the 1901 census of Ville marie with ALexander where it states born in Quebec instead of Ontario July 25th 1866. We are looking for any Lauzons in Ottawa during 1875 who may have died and left her there. According to some, Emilie did know her Lauzon relatives. She died APril 9, 1959 in Lambton Sarnia under the name Emilie Sabourin wife of the late ALexander Sabourin. Sabourin was husband no. 3. I wish I could find her birth parents as the family tree stops here because of it.

Trying to help a friend find her birth parents. Female child born to Mr. & Mrs. Bray at what used to be Garfield Hospital, Washington, DC on 1/26/1958. Delivered by Dr. Watson. She was the seventh child of these parents. Her natural father was a painter. She was adopted at age 3 days. Thanks for any info you might have.
My Grandmother, Wynona Renison was adopted in the early 1900's. She was separated from her natural family at around 5 years of age. She thinks that she was born around 1905 in or around Walla Walla, Washington. She thought that her family surname was possibly "Warren". She wasn't even sure of her own given name - she thought it might have been "Hazel" and that she had an older sister named "Ethel" and a brother. Her natural mother gave her and her sister to a blind couple when she remarried. She remembers something about the new "husband" not wanting to keep the girls, but that he would keep the boy. Eventually, she was also separated from her sister and passed around to several families. She was finally adopted in Oklahoma by Mary Davenport. If anyone has any information concerning her natural family, we would love to hear from you.
I tried doing a search but really could not come up with anything. I was not able to find any families in the Walla Walla aree that had both an Ethel & Hazel. It is kinda hard when you dont have much information.
Good luck Im also searching for a few birth parents of my sons father and also my current husband it is a journey.
