As a first generation Molfettese-American, I requested that this board be created to help bring together Molfettesi and descendants of Molfettesi from around the globe. Considering the diverse locations to which Molfettesi emigrated, we all might discover family thoughout the world. Plus, many of us are trying to dicover our roots and family back in Molfetta. I'm sorry Paola. English is my main language, and I am pretty fluent in Italian. However, I only understand and speak very, very little Spanish. We'll just have to try our best to communicate. :-)
Like many Southern Italians, Molfettesi settled in all parts of the globe in order to find work during the 20th century in particular. For instance, I have relatives in Argentina, Venezuela, and Australia.
