I'm trying to discover what happened to 2 of my cousins, nursing sisters in WW I. They were Lillian Evangeline Connerty, born 1 Nov 1881 & her sister Florence Maria (born Flossie Elmira), born 10 Jan 1890; their parents were William Connerty & Martha Pricilla Merrifield. Both women survived the war - I found them returning home on the Celtic in 1919. Lillian is listed in the Canadian Army Medical Services until Jul 1932.

Richard Anderson here. I saw your post on the villages in the uk when I was looking up Bankfoot. You can read my response to your post there. I am living in Colorado, USA. My great grandfather Peter Bryson Anderson was married to Elizabeth Jane Clark's sister, Amelia Clark. My grandfather was William Clark Anderson. I have wandered around that area of Scotland, trying to find out anything I could about the anderson family after Peter Bryson Anderson and Amelia Clark came to Seattle Washington. Didn't find much information, but didn't really know how to research. I have some great charts that a great aunt has given me, and would be glad to email them to you. My email address is dick@alphacommfirst.com. I look forward to communicating with you.
I have a James Patton Redmon, born 28 March 1823, who is a younger brother to my 2nd great grandfather. James P. was born in NC. Is this who you are looking for?
